What to do if your redundancy pay looks wrong
Ask for a written breakdown and compare the dates, service years, age bands and weekly pay figure. Save the offer, payslips and any emails about continuity or notice.
Act promptly
Tell your employer which figures you dispute and why. If the issue is unresolved, check the applicable deadline promptly. GOV.UK gives a six-month period from the end of employment to apply for statutory redundancy pay. Other employment claims can have different deadlines.
